The Truth About PPC Classroom…
September 25th, 2007 by
Amit
I get emails almost everyday from readers asking me if I have a coaching program, or if they can join my coaching program.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a coaching program ready at the moment, and frankly I’m busy for the next several months launching a bunch of different affiliate offers and getting my second company, Performance Marketing Worldwide, off the ground.
As luck would have it just a week ago my friend Jeremy Palmer told me about a coaching program that he’s launching with Anik Singal, that’s called PPC Classroom, that’s just about ppc affiliate marketing.
Now when Jeremy first told me about PPC Classroom, honestly I was a bit skeptical. In the time I’ve been in this business I’ve seem a lot of bogus info products on affiliate marketing that did not deliver or live up to their name.
Many ebooks, courses, and paid membership sites on affiliate marketing either provide very basic information (i.e. how to setup a clickbank account) or have hopelessly out of date information.
On the other hand, I personally know Jeremy Palmer, and he is a world class super affiliate and a world class guy, so if he’s apart of PPC Classroom, it must be good.
So Jeremy and Anik allowed me to take a peak behind the curtains and see what PPC Classroom was all about.
All I have to say is WOW!
I mean at first I could not believe the amount of information that Jeremy and Anik were giving away. PPC affiliate marketing secrets that had taken me years to discover were all revealed.
PPC Classroom is the first, bona fide, EXACT step-by-step blueprint on how to do ppc affiliate marketing. I wish I had had such an incredible resource when I first started out!
I know I’ve stated in previous posts that there is no blueprint to doing ppc affiliate marketing, honestly after going through the course material in PPC Classroom, I’ve been proven wrong.
The downside of PPC classroom is that you get an overwhelming amount of information all at once, you need to be discipline and systematically go through all the material AND apply what you’ve learned, otherwise don’t waste your money.
I would only sign up for this program if you’re dead serious about making big bucks with PPC, it’s not for the faint of heart.
Here’s just some of what’s inside PPC Classroom:
- Six modules that provide a step-by-step blueprint on how to: find a niche, pick the right affiliate offer, research and bid on the right keywords, build your landing pages, and much more…
- Expert “tell all” interviews with top super affiliates, including myself, Rosalind Gardner, Vinny Lingham, and many others…
- 6 weeks of live webinars, where Jeremy and Anik will build profitable campaigns right in front of your eyes.
- A Top Secret Tool Jeremy uses to manage and track all of his campaigns across all 3 major search engines.
- And Much More…
Here’s a 10 minute excerpt from the 40 minute info packed interview I did with Jeremy Palmer for PPC Classroom…
10 Minute Excerpt of My Interview with Jeremy Palmer
My full interview with Jeremy is available when you sign with PPC Classroom.
For those of you who have been asking me about a coaching program or help with ppc affiliate marketing, I strongly recommend PPC Classroom.
I wish I had such an awesome resource at my finger tips when I got started, it would have significantly cut down on my learning curve.

Is one of the tips to send people to a landing page that is a dead end?
Am I missing something?
Hi Jeff,
Seems that PPC classroom is having some serious bandwidth problems with the overwhelming number of people visiting the site. Try again a little later, it seems to be working for me now.
I tried to sign up but they decline my credit card.. Sigh.. I live in Europe.
Wow, $500. If I already had $500 to give away on this maybe. I know you’re going to say “But you’ll make that back in a week if you follow my step by step program, now just give me your CC”.
I don’t have 500 so I guess I’ll just be on my own for now. Looks like a great classroom though.
Damn, I didn’t see your bonus offer until after I bought. Next time you offer something like this a little advance email notice would be appreciated.
Sorry I missed your offer,
John
ahh i just settled on a house and cant swing the 500 now…damnit…anyone want to go 3 ways with me? jk
I actually saw something about this awhile back, but I’ve become skeptical about alot of these programs anymore. After seeing that you recommend it, I just may go ahead and give it a try.
Thanks!
@browie,
I don’t think the ‘make crazy money in 24 hours” is Anik and Jeremy’s approach at all.
Having seen the course materials, I can say it’s geared towards helping you build a long term sustainable business.
There is work involved. It isn’t as simple as pressing a few buttons and watching money rush in as some ebooks claim (which don’t work anyway…).
I guess it really depends on whether your focus in internet marketing’s to send out a few emails and earn a couple of hundred bucks of ‘quick cash’ every couple of days, or build a solid business as Amit and Jeremy have done…
Anik Singal replied to me about the declined credit cards. It is a problem they are having with some international offers.. Then he claimed he had it fixed, I tried again and it was declined again..
I bet alot of people internationally that were interested are no longer buying because of this. They may be super affiliates, but they suck at being super merchants.
I live in UK and had the same problem about declined credit cards. Tried it twice - then called credit card company and they said that they had approved both payments. SO I am now very weary of trying again as I dont want to be charged 3 times!
Btw amit, I’m going to say it again please fix your page. Your entire site is 1 big link to cafepress for me.
It’s because you haven’t closed the “a” tag” to cafepress site (t-shirt image)
Please fix it.
is the entry fee of $497 a one time fee period!!!
or will they charge an additional monthly imediately or sometime in the future.
I do have $500 to invest but need to know that there are no hidden costs. I read something about “FULL 30 Day FREE Membership to our PPC community ”
..why isnt the membership free after paying $500? is 500 strickly for the 8 module book, what about the 7 cd set in the picture? whats on those cds? is it just an audio format of the 8 modules?
Its a fantastic offer - I have purchased - unfortunatley not though your link Amit! Why was I so eager!
isaac,
It looks like there’s a $497 one-time fee for the materials and then $49.97/month if you want membership in their PPC community. The first 3 months of membership are included with the $497 payment.
Unfortunately, PPC Classroom’s sales letter is a bit dishonest, right from the start of it. Anik’s been around affiliate marketing for a while and he knows the landscape well…so his “who would believe that any little guy sitting with a computer in his home could possibly have a fighting chance at even making a few thousands dollars” comment is pure pretense.
And the sales page mentions several time how Jeremy “earned over $1.4 million” last year, but there’s only a single passing reference to the cost of those clicks — “Over the past three years Jeremy has spent over $1 million buying clicks.”. The $1.4 million “earned” is gross revenue before PPC expenses, not net profit. Many people will not realize that when they read the page. (I know, I know… even half of $1.4 million is still excellent.
)
Anik and Jeremy both have a lot of knowledge and experience to offer, but it’s too bad they’ve turned up the hype machine too high on this program. (Some of the people blogging to promote PPC Classroom don’t even do much PPC marketing themselves… go figure.)
Hi Wesley,
I’m on it, thanks for the heads up!
Sincerely,
Amit
Is “Jeremy’s secret PPC tool” something that we install and host on our own servers, or is it hosted on your guys’ servers?
Oops, nevermind, I missed the part telling me I can host it on my own server.
Thanks for fixing it amit
Much more enjoyable now.
About what I said earlier about my credit card being declined, it seemed the issue was on my side! Apologies to ppc classroom.
Amit, I bought through your link and have emailed you.
Hey Amit,
Is this the same deal as your other one here:
http://amitmehtareveals.com/ppcclassroom/?gclid=CPnk8dWh4o4CFUtyOAodvE1PQw
Hi Mike,
Sorry for the confusion, the bonuses if you buy from this blog or from amitmehtareveals.com are the SAME.
Hi Amit,
I bought through amitmehtareveals.com site and emailed the receipt yesterday and resend to amit @ superaffiliatemindset.com today. I haven’t receieved your email yet. Could you please verify ? I am excited of your bonuses.
Regards
Maybe I’m over reacting, but…
So you turn out to be just another “guru” trying to make a buck off of the ignorant and hopeful by whoring yourself out with affiliate links?
I’m ashamed to admit that up until this post, I admired you.
I have to ask you: How much is enough?
100k a month? 500k a month?
How much money can you and your friends actually spend? How much money will make you feel satisfied?
You gave me real hope that this industry wasn’t just full of scumbags trying to pimp an info product to the noobies. I actually looked up to you; took your advice; had hope.
You don’t know me or owe me anything, but you should know the damage that you do by actions like this. You’ll make a few more dollars by preying on the weak; but I hope that on your deathbed you remember all of the people whose lives you made worse by your greed.
And I hope you are all alone, abandoned by your so called friends when they realize you have nothing more to offer them and they, like you are doing, move on to something that will make them a few more dollars.
Gasp out that last breath with your pretty, rare Rolex on your wrist and admire it when the lights go dim and that last vision of this beautiful life fades away and you realize that you could have actually done something worthwhile with your knowledge and wealth.
No, actually I hope you live peacefully and die never knowing fear or want or loneliness.
Unfortunately I think you’ve chosen a path that guarantees you will not do so.
Hi Sekar,
You’re good to go. I sent your bonus.
whoa such the guilt trip (disappointed)
anyways Amit is just going about his business. we dont have to be here or even read his blog. its entertaining and does give us noobies some hope.
I admit that this post did hit me the wrong way. amit started off by saying that he doesnt beleive in ppc programs that teach you how to use ppc and that they are all crap. but then he starts to tell us about a friend of his that does have a worth while program and its recommended.
then to come and find out that amit is part of the program really drops the ball on his real intention to make money off of us.
i still think the program may be worth the investment, but because of the sales pitch i think im passing on this program. not to mention that i dont want to spend more then $150 so 500 is way to much.
Amit: I am disappointed too.
Disappointed: You are over-reacting and too harsh on Amit obviously. He is an affiliate marketer.
Amit,
I just placed my order through your link. I look forward to the bounuses.
Thanks.
Oh Puhleeze! disappointed…You’re being just a little melodramatic, don you think? If you don’t like Amit making money off of people on his blog then don’t by the product he’s promoting. There’s no need to get personal though that’s uncalled for.
Wake up and wise up, guys. You are clueless if you think all the gurus are writing their blogs to help you.
Ask yourself: If you can make $245 per sale puls $10/month on monthly membership, would you and your brothers push this as hard as you can?
Of course, you average Joe can not get in the action. The JV is for invitation only. All the gurus under the sun are behind this. It would be an interesting read if someone write a book about all the frenzy in launching a product like this.
Look at the sales from these gurus for the first day:
As of 12 PM ET (today) - Here are the JV leaders (things are getting VERY heated now):
Here are the current sales leaders!
1. TIED - Matt Callen & Andre Chaperon (uh oh…)
3. Chris McNeeny - 17 Sales To Go
4. Cody Moya - 23 Sales To Go
5. Chris Carpenter - 26 Sales To Go
6. Ewen Chia - 7 To Break Into Top 5
7. Alok Jain - 8 To Break Into Top 5
8. Eric Rockefeller - 11 To Top 5
9. Rosalind Gardner - 14 To Top 5
10. Michael Rasmussen - 15 To Top 5
11. Amit Mehta - Shows Us BLOGS DO Work!
12. Sean Wu - Only 4 To Break Top 10!
13. Fabian Wu - Only 7 To Break Top 10!
14. Another TIE
Brad Callen - 8 To Top 10
Paul Smithson
Alex Goad
18. Andrew Fox - 9 To Top 10
19. Allan Gardyne - 11 To Top 10
20. Jeff Dedrick - 14 To Top 10
Our guru is at No. 11.
What he doesn’t tell you is that to make that 1.4 million he spent over 1 million on PPC. So his net profit is what we should be asking about.. I mean if you spent 1.35 million and earn 1.4 million whats the big deal eh?
Just Guru BS. snake oil salesman this lot and you are just acting like his pimps
Okay, there are a number of reason I choose to do this JV:
1) When I was a newbie I was a member of affiliate classroom by Anik and bought QuitYourDayJob by Jeremy, I benefited greatly from both
2)I personally look over the material for PPC Classroom, it is top rate, I believe it will benefit anyone that’s doing ppc marketing. Heck, I’m going through it myself and learning new stuff!
3) This product provides real and substantial value above and beyond what is on my blog. It’s a real value add to anyone trying to succeed at ppc affiliate marketing.
I’ve been totally clear that I’m promoting this as an affiliate I’m offering a VERY substantial bonus, which itself it worth the price of PPC Classroom.
Some of you think I must be running a charity here, I have and will continue to provide quality information to my readers 100% free of charge. But I cannot justify doing everything for free, believe it or not my time is worth something too.
I’m providing a fair exchange of value here, if you’re not interested in the offer, no problem, I will continue to write info packed blog posts for the all.
LET ME REPEAT: I did not start this blog with the sole intent of promoting affiliate offers (duh, you’ve only seen one up to date). And you will rarely see me do this, only once in a while, when I see something of REAL value that will benefit my readers.
“melodramatic…”
“he’s a marketer…”
He’s more than a marketer, he’s human being who in my opinion is straying down a path he’ll regret.
It’s not melodrama to feel badly for someone who, by his own admission, took years of work on himself to feel adequate and worthy and is now selling out to make a buck. I meant my last comment. People like this end up committing suicide, dying alone and unwanted.
I think that’s a terrible waste. He’s clearly got an incredible mind, a gift for teaching and the entire world already at his disposal…. and he’s selling it out for a few bucks because he can’t be content.
He’s more than a marketer, he’s a person.
Amit, look up the life of Epicurus. It’s not too late for you.
“Some of you think I must be running a charity here, I have and will continue to provide quality information to my readers 100% free of charge. But I cannot justify doing everything for free, believe it or not my time is worth something too.”
Not at all. I think that you give the impression that you’re giving back to the community and enjoying the limelight and that has been the reward, the reason for the time you’ve spent. The accolades of the industry, the admiration of your readers etc.
Your time is worth something. None of us can afford your hourly rate, so why bother with the blog at all if making a buck is your intent?
Don’t get me wrong, please. As I said: I look up to you and your skills, which is why I’ve invested so much of my time in tracing your steps. Taking your recommendations to heart. Reading what you said to read etc. I’d even be willing to pay for a book that you wrote about your steps/journey as a thank you for what you’ve given me.
But an affiliate offer?
It just makes me feel… soiled by my admiration for you.
In other words, it’s beneath the image of you that I had in mind.
I’ve received numerous emails regarding PPC classroom and the common theme, besides go buy it now, is that no one actually claims to have read the thing. People have ‘looked it over’, have “seen it” etc. Amit did you read through the whole course and all it’s supporting materials? Do you know exactly what you’re promoting?
Hi Micheal,
That’s a great question. I spend several hours going through the course material.
I’ll be honestly I did go through every single page, due to the fact there’s an overwhelming amount of material, but I went through enough to know that it’s solid high quality stuff.
Also, I’ve been a member of affiliate classroom by Anik and own quityourdayjob by Jeremy, as a newbie I really benefited from their courses and training.
Jeremy really does give away a lot of what he does, including his sites + the affiliate offers he has promoted.
If the other interviews are like the one I did with Jeremy for this course, then you can expect a lot from that as well.
So yes, I know exactly what I’m promoting and I’m staking my reputation on the quality of the material in PPC Classroom.
Im disappointed at Disappointed.
I not sure Disappointed understands the value of use value in exchange for money. Though Amit gives tons of free info, it does not seem to be enough to Dis, Amit gives us tremendous FREE information that has tremendous use value, again, for FREE. Now that he stakes his honor on this product, Dis begins to belittle Amit, that is just unnecessary. I have two marketers that I have come to trust, Amit and Holly Mann, they are the two that have presented themselves as genuinely hoping for your success. They both give away a ton of free info, again giving use tremendous use value for nothing, I dont know of a greater gift than this. I have come to trust Amit and Holly so I will be buying this product and hoping Amit receives a nice commission.
The Adorable One
With warm regards,
The True King Carlos
To be honest, it was AMIT’s recommendation that made me buy PPCclassroom. Why? Because many of the things that he has recommended for me has been gold like keycompete, etc.
$500 may be steep for some people, but I view it as an investment, not spending $.
In real life people will spend $10,000+ on a business and not make a dime off of it in years. This is a $500 investment that has no limits o how much I’ll be able to make.
Hey Amit
I click to purchase through your blog and now I’m being told that Linda Buquet - 5-Star Affiliate Programs is getting the credit and I get screwed out of your bonus. This is ridiculous. How can you fix this?
I’m no super affiliate, nor an uber-affiliate, and I understand some people can’t part with $500. But if you can spare $500, buy the program, and don’t get anything out of it, then you didn’t try hard enough.
“Money doesn’t come easy, or else everyone would be rich”
I bought the product and I’ve experienced several problems since the launch
- site crash during launch (anyone heard of a stress test?)
- the infamous “tool” has still not been released
- webinar demonstrating the tool fraught with errors
- $20 on shipping and still no shipping confirmation
I emailed support and said, “Hey I haven’t received any shipping confirmation, and you all said we’d have it by now. When will it ship?”
They replied, “You’ll get your shipping confirmation when it ships”
Huh?
They also gave some lame excuse about there being a bunch of orders to process.
Huh?
Why weren’t these ready before they launched? I sell products and I don’t order them from the manufacturer when ordered by the customer - that would take forever! Especially without telling us. As for printing, any print shop could put all this together.
Plus, the tool only contains a few affiliate networks with vague promises to add more “sometime”
So, all we’ve had are a bunch of empty promises and absolutely nothing delivered except for my money in their bank accounts.
IMO, this is a very amateur launch that is not treating their customers with any respect. They did extend our membership for 3 months for free.
Whoopdee-do
What is in that membership? More empty promises and hot air? More updates to a tool that should have been complete the first time and still hasn’t been released? All we have now is a $500 noob forum.
I hope it turns around, because I’ll flip the trigger on that guarantee pretty fast if the product is halfway as bad as my experience with them so far. Just wanted you all to be aware if you’re still contemplating buying this that it isn’t wine and roses.
Matt,
I understand your frustration. Anik REALLY dropped the ball with this product launch. Collecting money while not having product ready to ship is bad news. At the very least, he should have had the printer ready to ship product within a week of purchase. Not knowing when your product is ready to ship is unacceptable. Handling business this way totally feeds buyers remorse.
Personally, I’m going to be patient because I think everything will turn around, at least i’m hoping so.
to that “disappointed”:
Why do Retards and egoist’s like him even go online to show their low IQ?
FYI: in case you did Not noticed it yet Everybody on this planet
- has to Make money in order to make living
- every Able body is “selling” something! Be it product or whoring the Time of your life and your knowledge to your Boss Also For the Money! [you are not going to tell me YOU work for free, are you?]
Why is Recommending somebody’s product/service Online so irritating to you although if somebody offline tells you about this super gizmo they believe will help you, you don’t mind?
What’s the difference??
Why would recommending somebody’s else product be so ‘bad’? It would NOT cost YOU more, if you purchase through somebody link! Opposite: you will get even more !(see the extra bonuses!)
Does it Really bother your little pitiful soul so Much that somebody will make money?
And what? You don’t “make money”? Mother Theresa is dead and I haven’t heard that there is another one.
Are you truly so Retarded you cannot recognize if the product has a value for you or not?
I, personally am Very thankful if somebody points me to a good product/product I feel will be useful to me, Because it will Save me Time, not to mention the true Value of the product
And WHAT are YOU Giving away for FREE??
FYI: IF you truly ‘admire’ Amit so much wouldn’t it be polite to show your thankfullness for doing something for him - especially IF it would NOT cost you a cent more??
geepis……….!!
Sorry for the long post, maybe sounding even harsher, but I am truly getting sick and tired of the hypocrites like this “disappointed” fellow Who just has this gimmme gimme gimme nature, Not willing to “give back” and even offending people who are working hard!
Interesting information about ppc, what do u think about ppl (pay per lead) personally I use Affiliate Junktion Which has been really successful for me so far? I would love to know what you think about it and pay per lead in general
[...] note: This consulting bonus is in addition to the bonuses I already offered in my previous post, and everyone who signed up for PPC Classroom through my blog prior to now also gets this bonus. [...]
From Guadalajara, Mexico:
For Dissapointed, I think, he/she should read the excellent essay on “Compensation” written by Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882). All of us have to share something. Or, better, all of us have something to share. The following does not have relation to the Emerson essay: “Give something away first”. “How can you make money? -By helping other people getting what they want”. “Anything you do, you gotta have heart”. Four key words in the marketing are(n)a: “Faster, cheaper, easier, better”. These are phrases that work in the offline world too. Maybe some of you remember when, many years ago, you gave a very desiré or wished-for collection card (or anything that could had some value for someone else) to a friend or neighbor in order he could complete his album (you had two or more identical cards) expecting nothing, but then he came with a little gift to you, something you did not expect, a chocolate bar for example.
This works, have worked and will work, all the time. And now, in this time of ours, what is faster (& cheaper & easier & better) than the web?
The “12 most persuasive words in the selling world” (copied from the cover of the October 1977 issue of the Specialty Salesman Magazine, Established 1915; Editor/Publisher 1977: Yale A. Katz, Chicago, 31 years ago) are: 1 save, 2 money, 3 you, 4 new, 5 health, 6 results, 7 easy, 8 safety, 9 love, 10 discover, 11 proven, 12 guarantee. Maybe now, in 2008, the “12 most…” have changed.
Here is the link to the Emerson work:
