I have to say that this post is one of the greatest I have ever read. When people don’t get the results that they want, sometimes they tend to fail to look at the smallest things that gave them the undesirable result. It is clear that when you are into affliate marketing you have to be dedicated and a consistent worker. Being lazy, can in fact be your downfall in any other aspects. But like what Shay Amar has to say, I agree that not all factors apply to all people.

Amit – spot on!

No one who whinges (over here in OZ “whinging” also translates to being a pain in the but) has even begun to comprehend the massive power of the brain. It’s so simple.. Tell yourself you can’t do something and you bloody well won’t – gotta change that mindset.

We don’t lose at anything until regrets take the place of dreams.

and to the Phelps analogy I offer :

All the others were in the same pool and Super Athletes as well. There will be one that comes out on top but the others have much to be proud of.

So AMIT makes 10,000 a month in a niche and I come in number 2 at $9,999.99!

We need to stop looking fore excuses.

I whole heartedly agree with Shay Amar. Some people can do something really well, most only mediocre. In affiliate marketing, even doing mediocre is really good.

But I also agree with the fact that not testing more offers consistently and just sitting on one or two campaigns for months kills the momentum. I’m guilty of that.

-> I don’t know where you are getting this from.
On what basis are you making this statement?

“And that’s not a bad thing, affiliate marketing is small.”

-> Does this have any basis in reality?

“Maybe you have talent in product creation, you’ll be a millionaire far faster than affiliate marketing. (this is not absolute of course, I’m just giving an example)”

You may have the best intentions, but I don’t see the point of your comment.

Are you saying affiliate marketing is hard and to do something else?
If so, you missed the point of the post.
