My wife and I going to live in Miami between June 2008-Nov 2008! We’re going to get a place right on the beach.
So why Miami?
My wife, Shilpi, is in Optometry School, and next year is her last year where she does a full year of rotations. Shilpi got accepted to Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the top eye hospital in the world! She has a 6 month rotation there so, we’re moving to Miami!
Why is this a super affiliate perk?
Because this would not have been possible had I not been a super affiliate. If I was working a 9-5 job, Shilpi would have either not applied to Bascom, or have gone there and we would have been apart for 6 months (that would have REALLY sucked)!
When Shilpi told me the news about Miami, I realized what a blessing it was to have a mobile income. To have the freedom to run my business form ANYWHERE around the world (well, anywhere I can get internet connection).
If Shilpi and I want to spend 6 months in Miami we can, if we want to spend 3 months in Greece we can, if we want to just stay in Boston we can!
Having a 9-5 job in the rat race not only severely restricts your income potential, but also restricts where you can live. Now I know some of you are proud of the fact that you have 4 weeks of vacation time.
How about living your dreams EVERYDAY. Doing what you love, and taking as much or as little time off of your business as you want while you make $1000s a day on autopilot.
And if you get board with the scenery, you can go somewhere else for a while.
The perks of being successful in this business go way beyond just the money. Affiliate marketing gives you both time and location freedom, which are absolutely priceless!
Let me ask you this question:
Would you rather make $1,000,000/yr in a job, where you’re tied down in a cubicle for 60-80 hrs/week, or $200,000/yr as an affiliate, where your income is on virtual autopilot and you have complete freedom to live how and where you want?
autopilot income Bascom Palmer location freedom Miami super affilate perk time freedom
I can only hope to make that much some day through affiliate marketing. I hope by continuing to read your blog I can get there too. There’s so much I want for my wife and family that I am very motivated to learn as much as possible to get here. We’ve had a LOT of bad luck lately. Because of that I’m looking for different ways to earn more money. I could use all the help I can get. My current ventures haven’t been fruitful as of yet so I can use all the help I can get.
To your question, I’d rather have the 200,000 a year on autopilot. Because with the time off I can do something else to bring more money in on autopiolot.
Congratulations!! We’re going to be neighbors.
When I moved here from New York I thought it was going to be a temporary thing too. Ended up staying for good.
You’re going to love it here
Complete freedom is my main goal. That is why I started affiliate marketing and blogging in the first place:)
I would much rather make $1M a year for several reasons. The biggest one being that you could live modestly, work 4 years, then quit. After taxes, you could have over $2M saved, invest it in a lower-risk fund and make 10% off that no problem. Then you can tell google’s QS bot to kiss your ass, cause you’re making 200k without it. Plus if you did that, you would have a lot more error room to play with and get into affiliate marketing from then on out, adding even more to your already $200k income.
But I have to say it is cool that you can just pack up and head out like that.
First, let me congratulate you and your wife, this is wonderful news, I pray for you continued hard earned blessings.
The answer to your question is I’ll take the freedom any day.
Warm regards,
The True King Carlos
Congrats on moving down to Miami. You know at least once you will be listening to the Miami Vice theme song while you drive around down there
As for the two choices? I would choose the 200k/per yr Super Affiliate as life is to short to give up the freedom of being confined to a cube/desk. Now to make this happen for myself. Going back to work now.
Hi Amit,
my first post on your blog. what i would like to say is that your blog is great to read and give me hope that great things are possible. Secondly on this particular post , that is the great thing i personally found in doing affiliate marketing , the freedom of movement and not being tied to the office like a 9-5. I currently dont make as much as you but i personally would never give up the freedom that i have in my work to do a 9-5.
freedom cannot be measured in money as the freedom you have with working on line is almost to me immesurable when you compare it to having to put in a vacation request and hoping it will get approved etc..
