Super-Affiliate Mindset & The Tipping Point

This is the first post of a new exciting affiliate marketing blog! Before I explain what this blog is all about, let me tell you a little about how I started out in this business.

When I was a newbie affiliate (started on March 2005), wet behind the ears, I can vividly remember the pain and frustration of launching campaign after campaign, day after day, month after month, with absolutely nothing to show for it.

However, I was determined to succeed! I stayed persistent and finally on my 16th Google campaign I begin making $200/day profit-that was Nov 2005.

In Dec 2005 I made $10,000 profit.

On June 15, 2006 I walked away from a $90,000 a year job never to look back!

So what happened? Why did my sales suddenly skyrocket?

I like to call it the tipping point, where I believe you sell out to this business and say that you’re going to succeed no matter what obstacle gets in your way.

When that happens, the fog clears from your eyes, and it all comes together. Suddenly you know what keywords to bid on, which markets people are making money in, how to structure your adwords campaigns, etc. You see, those months where I was seeing no results and working my butt off with campaign after campaign, is where most of my real growth occurred.

The growth wasn’t in my pocket book (I was losing money like a sieve!) The growth was on the inside.

Every time I failed and said “One more campaign, my next campaign is gonna be a winner” Day by day, week by week, I was selling myself on the fact that I was going to win.

I began to devour ebooks on the topic: Google Cash, Definite Guide to Adwords, etc etc. I was determined to do whatever it takes.

Did I have my days I just wanted to give up..YES! But that what it takes to become a Super-Affiliate. You gotta be willing to pay the full price to develop the emotional fortitude and the skills sets to succeed, and succeed big.

And when it all comes together and you hit the tipping point, you’ll think to yourself, “WOW! That was SOO worth it!” :)

In this blog I sincerely hope I’ll be able to supply the missing ingredient that will help so many struggling affiliates finally reach “the tipping point” to explosive sales growth and enter the realm of the super-affiliate.

I’m in the same boat as you per the decent paying corporate gig. My biggest issue since I started on the path a couple of months ago is TIME. How did you manage to grow so fast doing AM part time?
