Speaking at the Affiliate Summit…

For those of you who don’t know already, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be speaking on a panel at the Affiliate Summit in Vegas at the end of this month.
I’m speaking on the Super Affiliate Strategies That Work Panel along with some industry heavy weights : Kris Jones (CEO of Pepperjam), Zac Johnson (viral marketing extraordinare) , and John Chow (among the top bloggers in the world).
I’ve never actually met John Chow in person, so I’m definitely looking forward to that.
Kris, Zac, John, and I had a chance to discuss what we’re going to talk about, and all I can say is that if you’re attending the Summit I would make it your #1 PRIORITY to attend this panel.
We’re going to share some AMAZING insights.
If you’ve never attended the Affiliate Summit, or any other conference in internet marketing/search marketing/affiliate marketing world, I would strongly suggest you do. Not only do you learn a ton of useful stuff attending these conferences, but the networking opportunities are priceless.
Yes, most of these conferences cost $1000 or more just for admission, not including airfare and hotel costs, but don’t be cheap, it’s an investment in your future and in yourself (plus it’s a tax write off).
The Affiliate Summit was the first conference I ever attended in this industry. Honestly, I was blown away, I had no idea that affiliate marketing was THIS big! Attending this conference totally changed my business.
PS I’ll also be attending the PPC Summit in Boston in the beginning of March, hope to see some of you there

BTW I had some things converting and getting the hand of this once I get these converting at a high rate I’m going to start promoting through organic search and double my profits on every single merchant ;).
I think for most people it’s not a matter of being cheap but rather if they can even afford it. I know many people out there living paycheck to paycheck regardless of how many digits they bring home each year from their job or entrepreneural endeavors because they built such a steep hole to climb out of or they don’t make enough to being with.
That said, I shall see you there =]

A grand can also be invested in a lot of things- a few hundred domains, a good deal of PPC, a couple hundred articles, pretty good link building campaign(s), whatever.
Not saying it’s not worth it, just that there are MANY “investments” that could pay fast dividends. If someone has to scrape together that much cash, chances are they have better needs for it.
Unfortunately I won’t be around. Hope your performance will be recorded by someone

I wish I could make it this year. Unfortunately, that won’t be possible for me. I will definitely make it to Affiliate Summit East, whenever that is scheduled to take place.
Sounds awesome but like others have said, a grand to me right now is about the same as 10 grand. Out of reach for the time being. I am feeling pretty lucky to put in a little this week to start building my ppc campaigns up since my fall from financial grace a couple of months ago.
