My wife and I are on our way to a well deserved vacation in Bermuda. 
After getting completely feed up with lousy Boston taxi service-they don’t turn on the air conditioning in the summer when it 90 degrees outside-we decided to hire a limo service (through Amex) for the first time!
I gotta tell you, it was really sweet! Although it wasn’t actually a limo, it was a Mercedes Sedan, with plush leather seats, and most importantly, air conditioning. The limo service cost almost 3 times as much as a taxi cost, but it’s worth it, last time I took a taxi I was swimming in a pool of sweat by the time I got to the airport.
The Boston airport, and airports across the US for that matter, are another story. Air travel has been a completely nightmare this whole summer. Airports are packed like sardines, canceled flights, frequent delays, check-in lines and security lines a mile long.
My wife and I decided to not to take first class this time since we’re taking a two hour flight, it’s not worth paying $1000 per person for slightly bigger seat for such a short flight.
Thanks to the Amex black card, we were able check in on the first class line & get priority baggage service, since we have elite status with US Airways. We waited for 20 minutes ON THE FIRST CLASS LINE! Forget the coach line, it was AT LEAST an hour and a half wait.
So here we are waiting at our terminal, our flight is 2 hours delayed!
I love traveling, but air travel this summer is completely out of control!

Been there a couple of times, very mellow and relaxing.
Watch out for the “man of war” jelly fish if you go diving.
And stay on the correct side of the road if you are driving.

Next time you should try booking with http://www.bluestarjets.com no lines whats so ever. You may pay about 10,000-15000 to go from New York to Lax put there is no waititng just call a hour in advance an your off to GO!!! It would be worth a try. One day
I agree on lime service and air travel. Thing is Boston is much better in terms of airport services / waiting time than a lot of many other US airports. Hope you had a nice vacation.
