If you have not had a chance to check out Kirsty’s blog at AffiliateStuff.co.uk, then I highlly recommend it. This lady really has some serious personality, her blog is one of the most informative and entertaining affiliate blogs out there.
Kirsty’s insights about affiliate marketing are dead on, she has a great section for newbie affiliates. So if you’re just getting started in this business definitely check it out.
If you want a good laugh check out the Affiliate Personality Test, I was on the ground laughing while taking this test! There are few affiliates as passionate as Kirsty about affiliate marketing.
And with her extensive world travel schedule she’s a proud member of the New Rich:
“I’ve been traveling for the last 7 months and running my affiliate business on the road. So far I’ve been to Thailand, New Zealand, and half way round Australia whilst still earning 5 times my salary when I worked for an online marketing agency.”
I can see why she is so passionate about this business! Now I can guarantee you that she was driven and passionate about affiliate marketing before she was making the big bucks.
There’s a tip in that: you have to be excited and passionate about your affiliate marketing business before you see any success, and if affiliate marketing doesn’t get you excited to the point you can hardly sleep at night you need to really ask yourself why you’re doing this business and really define what drives you, your vision, your dream-you need to see it and feel it in your mind first before you can manifest it.

You’re dead on about the importance of passion in affiliate marketing in my opinion. D’you know, I even work in the bath? I take a big glass of wine… and the ever present notebook. Lather, rinse.. website idea… repeat!
I’ve met a lot of affiliates and super affiliates. And this kind of obsession / passion is a key characteristic shared by many of them. None of them admit to working in the bath, but I know it’s only a matter of time till Apple develop the waterproof notebook. It’s a rare flower in this game that can do it purely because they know there’s money in it (although they do exist!).
Next part on the world tour is 6 weeks in Fiji, Hawaii, San Francisco, Vegas, and New York. T-minus 10 days and counting!

You’ve got some great info on your site and some pretty funny posts as well. I am most inspired by your extensive travel. It’s a big passion of mine as well. Although I think you’ve been here before, if you need anyone to show you San Francisco or need help in any way when you get here, I’d be glad to show you around our fair city. We haven’t actually ever been to the states at all. We are in San Francisco from September 10th (I think!) for 3 days. If you want to stop by and have an affiliate day out or join us for dinner one night, that would be awesome. I’ve really been missing the company of other affiliates.
