Have You Even Called Your Affiliate Manager?

You know it’s funny how many affiliates I talk to that have never spoken to their affiliate manager, or only spoken to them once or twice. What’s worst, there are affiliate who promote products that don’t have an affiliate manager! Yikes!
When I’m actively building an affiliate campaign I’m on the phone with my affiliate manager EVERYDAY.
This is a HUGE secret to affiliate success.
What’s more is you really have to make an effort to build a relationship with your affiliate manager, make him your best bud. If you do this he’ll give you insider tips on exactly what to do to make your affiliate promotion super profitable, stuff that he won’t tell other affiliates.
We’ll just leave that one between you and me.

Totally agree. The problem is that sometimes they don’t respond. As an example, a couple of days ago I sent an email to my affiliate manager about landing pages at my website:
http://www.coffee-mall.com/green-mountain-coffee/
And guess what-no answer.
I would expect that affiliate program manager is an experienced person-they have access to statistical data and can determine what works better. It is possible that they don’t want or can’t answer your question. But just simple reply? Isn’t it essential business ethics?
Could you share what affiliate networks are you working with? I know that there are CJ and Clickbank but I don’t mthink they have affiliate managers. Also, do you build your own landing page or using the one from the affiliates? When creating PPC campaigns, do you lump all keywords into single ads campaign or split them into smaller campaign? Sorry for all the questions. I’m new to the dynamic of ppc affiliate marketing but it interested me.
I’m using Kolimbo as soon as my merchant with them. Email from affiliate manager was also from Kolimbo. I think it is a little offtopic, so you can always ask your questions in my forum at http://www.deal-times.com. I would be glad to answer what I know.
