Check Out My New Place In Coral Gables, FL

I’m finally settled in to my new place in Coral Gables, which is a suburb of Miami.

Check it out…

The food, the culture, and just about everything else in Coral Gables ROCKS! For Shilpi and I it’s been a total upgrade from the condo we had in Boston.

As soon as we get back to Boston in 6 months we’re going to start hunting for a condo in Back Bay that will top our place in Coral Gables. Once you upgrade your lifestyle, it really bites to have to take it back down a notch.

None of this would have been possible if I wasn’t a super affiliate. The rent on our Coral Gables place is double the mortgage payment on my place in Boston, which by the way I’m still paying in full.

Even if I was a big shot in the corporate world and had the money to cover a hefty rent plus a mortgage, I wouldn’t have the freedom to move down here.

Affiliate income represent REAL FREEDOM. There’s nothing like it in the world! :)

Welcome to Florida Amit. I’m just north of you up in Palm Beach County. You’re right that Coral Gables is the best place in Miami. Lots of other parts of Miami are not so great.

Thomas Stanley wrote ‘The Millionaire Next Door’ which chronicled the lives and spending habits of millionaires.

Here’s an excerpt from the New York Times:
    http://www.nytimes.com/books/first/s/stanley-millionaire.html

He’s followed it up with “The Billionaire Next Door”

IMO, financial freedom is the ability to buy anything or live anywhere you choose to.

Like Amit mentioned, spending big wads of cash to try to impress others is just a sign that you haven’t made it yet.

To the detractors: it’s easy to be a back seat driver, why not post pics of your own home and ‘impress’ us?

    Hi Amit,

Your new Condo in Coral Gables is nice. Thanks for sharing the video of the place where you will be living for next six months.

Personally, I always have disliked temporary shifting as it requires planning, takes time in settling and also costs money. However, sometimes there are no choices and one has to do it.

I hope that the brightness and openness at the new place will definitely keep you more happy and energetic.

Enjoy your stay at the new place and keep the money making tips coming as usual.

    Cheers

    Amit,

Keep reinvesting in your business and watch it grow…

Look at Warren Buffet, there is a great example of living well below your means.

I’m looking forward to more details about your coaching program.

    Regards
    Derek

You’re making $90k/month profits and you’re proud of living in a crummy apartment like that? Something doesn’t compute.

  6. Amit says:

    Hey Anon,

Here’s a clue: The assessed value of this “crummy apartment” is $1 million.

Come to Coral Gables some time and I’ll show you why it rocks living in this area.

    Hi Amit,

I live a little ways up in Fort Lauderdale. Coral Gables is a really nice place. Make sure you take time to explore the keys and take a cruise while you are here. BTW, Went to school in Boston and lived in back bay so I know exactly where you’re comming from. this post reminds me of how stoked I was when I first moved here. After 6 months you might not want to go back! :)

  8. RaMo says:

    I think it’s a great location.

  9. Hyder says:

Amit, Nice place. That mall that is across your place has a fountain that shoots water out of the ground, right? My kid played there when we used to live in Miami back in 2003, before we left U.S.A.

    Small world huh!

  10. Florida is nice! Yet, we have more sunshine here in the Algarve, Portugal! I like the way you have made the movie, you must be proud. And, so you should!
