Are You in a Hot Niche?

Have you ever been in a niche where no matter how targeted your adgroups were, how much you split tested your landing page copy, and Google ad copy you just couldn’t get your affiliate promotion to convert?

Have you then gone into a completely different market, and the minute you launch your campaign you start getting a flood of sales? Within days your campaign was solidly profitable and everything just worked out almost effortlessly?

It’s happens to me a LOT!

The simple fact is that some niches are hot, and some are not. If you want to become a super affiliate, you can either go into a super saturated market, try to though it out against well entrenched competition OR you can find what market are REALLY hot and ride the wave.

What would you rather do? Where do you have better chances of becoming a super affiliate?

In fact I’m constantly looking for hot markets, by reading industry news, attending conferences, etc, etc. I focus my efforts on entering hot markets and dominating them.

You have to trust me on this, getting a solidly profitable campaign going is really easy when you’re in a hot niche, and nearly impossible in a saturated niche. The only danger in a not niche is that you can get lazy and not properly build and optimize your campaign. You must always think long-term, the niche may be hot now, however, the easy picking may not last long. Think one step ahead and always work on improving your campaign, and building a solid website and business.

So if you’re in a niche where you’ve tried everything and you’re just hitting your head on the wall, then you may want to direct your affiliate efforts where there’s low hanging fruit.

    Amit,

I’m pretty sure that just because you’ve found one hot niche, you’re not the messiah of affiliate marketing. Your blog is so condescending and self-aggrandizing that the only reason I read it is to laugh at how ridiculous you are. It’s obvious despite your arrogance that you’ve only found one mildly profitable niche ($5000/day? and you’ve been doing this how long?) and will never play with the big boys. I hope you and your team of noob readers have a great circle-jerk about how great you all are – every minute you waste on this blog is one more I have to take you down, and every moron reader who takes your bunk advice is one less competitor for me.

Wow Wendall, having a bad day? What you say about others says little about them but speaks volumes about yourself.

Do you really think you’re going to discourage anyone?

Hope you have a better day Wendall, we love you. :)

  3. Doug says:

“Wendall”, wow, 5K a day is a joke to you?

Where’s your blog, I’d love to read it. Or are you more about the hit-and-run?

It’s kind of funny, or perhaps sad, that you spend so much time reading a blog that is so beneath you.

  4. Amit says:

    Hi Wendall,

If this blog is full of “bunk advice” then why don’t you enlighten us all with your tremendous wisdom?

Let me ask you Wendall, how many people have you actually helped succeed in affiliate marketing? How many people have you helped get financially free by teaching them affiliate marketing?

Also, if you want to attack me personally that’s fine, BUT DON’T INSULT MY READERS!

  5. Jeff says:

    Hey Wendell,

You must be a VERY successful affiliate marketeer perhaps you can give us some of your insights. Do you have a blog?

I’m just curious if Amit’s just a pimple on your affiliate marketing ass then why waste your time trying “to take him down”? Since 5K a day to you is nothing you must be making millions a month so why even bother with him?

Anyway…Amit keep up the good work. You know you must be letting cats out of the affiliate marketing bag if you’re being attacked like this. ;)

    Wendall,

Amit’s advice has worked well for me, and I have seen steadily increasing affiliate sales since implementing what he has shared with me…

When you use words like “circle-jerk”, “moron” and “bunk” to describe anyone who reads and listens to Amit’s great advice, it is a clear window into your mind and shows how your life is probably going for you right now…crappy and pathetic!

Jealousy is a hard thing to hide Wendall, and you are as transparent as Paris Hilton’s attempt to pass a sobriety test…so here is some advice for you:

Put up or Shut up…either provide us with snapshots of your verifiable affiliate income so we can see how well one of the “big boys” is actually doing in affiliate marketing…

    …silence….crickets chirping…more silence…

What’s that? Oh, you CAN’T provide proof of anything other than the fact that you are a miserable whining bastard full of contempt for those doing better than you?

Well then, you’d better just take the second option, and SHUT UP!

  7. Amit says:

    Thanks Guys!

    Three things are very clear:

1)Wendall is green with envy and jealousy

2)Wendall has a poor self-esteem, he REALLY thinks very little of himself

3)Wendall affiliate marketing efforts are not going very well, he’s NOT making a lot of money so he lashing out at others that are successful

I actually feel very sorry for Wendall, he is definitely a tortured soul.

I honestly hope my blog can help frustrated affiliates like Wendall, well at least affiliates who don’t try to cover up their personal insecurities and shortcomings by attacking others.

  8. Joseph says:

Windall, I have to tell you that you’ve made a big mistake…It seems to me that you are frustrated because you’re affiliate marketing efforts are not fruitful and your not making enough money.

Let me tell you my story and explain to you why you’ve made a big mistake… I was in the same situation as you were a short time ago…I was frustrated and even angry because I have spent many thousands of $$$ on courses and coaching trying to make serious money…But it seemed that everything I learn t and was thought was just a part of a puzzle but never the whole puzzle…

Look I was just about to give up when I met Amit in October last year… After I told him my story he wanted to help me out of his own will.

Now for the first time after spending so much time & money I’m very confident that I’m on the right track of building a very successful affiliate marketing business.

So my advice to you windall…Next time if you see someone who’s successful instead of attacking them…ask them for help or advice! Who knows you may get lucky and meet someone as genius and helping as the guy your attacking now!

    Amit,

Thank you for posting my comment, I am very sorry that I was having a bad day and decided to take it out on you and your readership. As many of your readers pointed out, I am in fact frustrated. I think it is great to see you have such a strong community behind you, and your readership is something you are justifiably proud of. I would like to thank your readership for being so understanding and forgiving of my outburst. I think it speaks to the quality of you and your readership that my comment did not result in a flame war but instead constructive criticism for myself. I hope you can all find it in your hearts to forgive me – and I look forward to contributing useful comments to your blog in the future.

Thanks for all your advice and criticism, and good luck.

  10. Amit says:

    Hi Wendall,

No problem, all is forgiven. We’re glad to have you as a regular reader, and look forward to reading your future comments. :)
