If you want to talk about culture shock, spend 5 days in Bermuda then go to Manhattan.
Bermuda is the epitome of the friendly laid back island culture, and Manhattan in the epitome of fast paced, high strung, city life.
My wife, my mom, and I went to Manhattan to get our India Visas renewed for our trip to India this December. Walking into the Indian Consulate was like being transported directly to india: ceiling fans, wiring running across the wall, cockroaches in the restroom, and a VERY long line. LOL
After we finished with that, 2 hours later, we headed to Azoogle’s new (under construction) headquarters. It was great to finally met Audrey, my affiliate manager, in person.
Five of us went to lunch: Me, Shilpi, my mom, Audrey, and Mitch, the director of affiliate management.
After having lunch with Mitch and Audrey, I’m even more excited about working with Azoogle. They really are a great company, they really care about their affiliates and treat them well.
Actually visiting the company you work with and meeting the people there really gives you confidence that your business is in good hands. You have to remember this business is all about relationships, our success would not be possible without great affiliate networks like Azoogle out there.
We depend on each other for success, the affiliate needs the affiliate networks (and vice versa).
The stronger the relationships you build the more successful you will be as an affiliate. Just remember no ones a lone ranger in this business, we all need to work together to really succeed to our full potential.

That’s a good criteria to pick an aff manager, by how “hot” she is…
I’ll have to remember that…
I was just thinking that this post is a good object lesson.
He is meeting with his manager. I get the same message from other super affiliate blogs. Communicate, don’t be a loner.
Don’t know if that was the original point of this post Amit, but your sure do emphizise that point. Thanks.
